So i am new to cloth pads, and i was wanting to get some just made for me. Are there any ladys (wahm) who do customs? like i can just send them a package of fabric and they can make me how many ever pads it turns out to be, and just charge for there time?

Specs:
would like..

wings
8inchs
would like some to be for overnight/heavy flow.

cheaper the better, as i don't have that much to spend cause i would really rather buy cloth diapers for my lil one.. but, trying to do something "good" for myself.

I'd like to build up a stash of cloth pads to have available to loan out to my foster daughters. We have a 17 YO arriving this week whom I have shown my pads to in the past and she has expressed an interest. So, I'd like to build a varied stash for her, and any other teens that come our way, to use.

My requirements are that the pads must be waterproof - either PUL or Windpro - and have wings.

Other than than, pretty much any length, style, fabric, & absorbency will do (although mostly light-medium I would think). If you sell regularly and have seconds, odd fabric combos, etc. - I'd love them. I will consider gently used pads as well. Photos of your work would be lovely if you don't sell regularly.

Price is also an issue - I can't really pay more than $5/pad, and would prefer to pay $3-4/pad, with 3-4 pads per transaction to save on shipping. I'm open to trading for anything on my site as well. http://hyenacart.com/diannesdiapers

Thanks!!

After quite a long repose this time around (I'm 11w pregnant with #2 and only now slowly gaining some end of 1st trimester energy back!), Matersum is stocked with a few new regular absorbency pads in my Etsy store. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

has anyone here ever tried to crochet a cloth pad? I am new to crocheting and have some gorgeous cotton-bamboo yarn and I reckon it would be lovely to use as a pad or pad cover. Ideas?

Alright so heres the deal.

Your girlfriend gets pissy drunk, drives your 2005 mercedes convertible (which you only have 3 months worth of payments left  on) and totals it.

She had your permission to drive the car, however you had NO idea drinking would be anywhere in the equation.

You make a comfortable 30 dollars an hour while your girlfriend makes 12. She is financially unable to replace, or really compensate you in anyway for the loss of your vehicle.  And to make it worse, your job is 30 minutes away, and there is no bus line from your area.

You have been with her for a little over a year, and you love her deeply. However the amount of rage you feel behind this incident that occured soley due to your girlfriends irresponsible actions, is not easily shaken off. You want to throw her out flat on her ass, but at the same time feel like a car is just a car and is replaceable, however your girlfriend survived, and her life is not. You value and treasure your relationship and dont know if a car is worth throwing it away over. But not only are you pissed, you now have no way to get to work easily.

So what do you do? Thoughts? Experiences?

Note:

This did not happen to me. Happened to a very good friend who called me hysterical, and I was honestly at a loss for words.

Do any of you have older scars that ache sometimes?

The last cuts I made, made a year and a day ago (woot!) have been sensitive on an off for a while now.  I've never gone so long without cutting, and none of my other scars have ever had this problem.  Sometimes I feel a slight ache out of nowhere, sometimes it just hurts a little when I rub them (they are on my left forearm).  Like I said, none of my other scars, most of which are much older, on my legs or other arm ache like this so I dont know if this is normal.

It's not enough to be truly bothersome, but I was just curious.
