28 Day Plan - Day 2

Tuesday September 2nd
Slimfast shake
1 egg, scrambled (no butter), ketchup
1 apple
China buffet with mom
3 Diet Cokes
1 spoonful of cherry chocolate chip ice cream
Approximately 20 announces of water
Spent approximately 20 minutes walking about campus

Food: 2/2
Water: 0/2
Exercise: 1/2
Journaling/Posting: 2/2
Daily Self Esteem Challenge: 0/2

Total: 5/10

Okay, so the worst bit about yesterday as far as I'm concerned is the self-esteem challenge, since Tuesdays are procrastination days and I've had important stuff that I've been putting off. I should have written up my resume, but I was either on campus or with my mum most of the day. Bleh. The other thing is the water: seriously, it's probably the easiest part of the whole damn challenge, and I haven't even gotten a point either day so far. So today my Nalgene will not leave my side. Hopefully I'll be able to skip eating altogether and this can be my fasting day. Yay!

-K

Monday September 1st
Slimfast shake 200 calories
1 cup puffed rice 60 calories
1 cup low-fat strawberry yogurt 80 calories
1 apple 80 calories
1 Diet Coke
1 cup cranberry weight-loss tea
1 cup cranberry weight-loss tea
Dinner: one bowl baked beans, 6 pickle slices, 1 piece of bread, glass of milk
Approximately 12 oz water

Food: 2/2
Water: 0/2
Exercise: 0/2
Journaling/Posting: 2/2
Daily Self Esteem Challenge: 0/2

Total: 4/10

Hahaha...I guess I have a lot of work to do! Geez I suck. Oh well. Today wasn't perfect either, but I will try to do better tomorrow. Hopefully it will be my liquid fast day. We will see how things go. It's been a while, I'm just getting back into the swing of things - but no worries! I'll get back on track soon enough.

-K

28 Day Plan - Preliminary info

Rules for the 28 Day Plan can be found here: http://community.livejournal.com/28dayplan/profile

Since I don't have a scale, I guess I'm going to wing it at first - I will try to get ahold of one by the end of the week. This plan, for me, has more of an intention to control than straight-out weight loss program though, so we will see.

Food: Broken up into three sections. Four days a week, I will be allowed one "regular" meal with the housemates, as well as one Slimfast shake and snacks not to exceed 300 calories. Two days a week I will only be allowed 2 Slimfast shakes and snacks not to exceed 300 calories. One day per week will be a 24-hour liquid fast - water, tea, iced tea, Diet Coke and possibly juice allowed, but nothing else.

Water: According to the rules, up to 24 oz of your daily total may be zero-calorie decaffeinated beverage, such as tea. I will make an effort to fill my Nalgene with water daily and pay attention to how much I am drinking.

Exercise: Walking to campus, biking, and doing exercises at home.

Posts: Every day I will post about the previous day.

Alright, I guess that's enough to get me started...ready ready aaaaaand GO!!!!!!
